Clocks follow time zones. The sun does not. Classical masters read charts by True Solar Time, the sun's actual position over your birthplace, which can differ from the clock by more than an hour. We convert every birth time using your birthplace's longitude and the equation of time, the way the old practice intended. For roughly 1 in 12 people, this changes the entire chart, and when your time sits near an hour boundary, we show you both charts and help you find which one is truly yours.
